Yesterday, several of my friends and I decided to spend the evening just hanging out. One of my friends has a house that is definitely off the beaten trail, so we went there for the peace and quiet.

There were five of us, just sitting on the the front porch, drinking lemonade and nibbling on whatever happened to be near. I pretty much kept my sweet tooth satisfied with the pralines. Mmmm mmmm. I LOVE good pralines!

When the sun started to go down, we all got quiet and just listened. The crickets were making a low hum and if we really strained, we could hear the cars on one of the main highways, which isn’t incredibly far away. In towns this size nothing is very far away from anything else.

Someone had the great idea about going out. We had done the relaxing thing and they claimed we had to keep life in balance. Who am I to spoil the fun?

I will say this, we did go out. We came back to the same house, but this time, their was noise. I’ll tell ya about that later.

Baby Boy is so adorable. He gurgles and coos and he is a very loving, affectionate AB. He loves to have his Mommy Adrienne stroke him and comfort him. When he is happy, the giggles are so happy.

Baby Boy is now in the potty training stage. When he doesn’t do what Mommy has taught him, he needs gently coaxing and reassuring that he can be a big boy one day. When he does well, Mommy rewards him and I can promise you, he is a happy baby when he falls asleep.

I change his diaper, powder him, and put him in his playpen. He is my little boy until he has to awaken and become the man he is for the rest of the world. If only his underlings at work knew when he steps through the door how much of a cuddly sweetheart their overbearing boss is.
